About Pizza Pirates

Serving Riverside, Fontana, and Jurupa Valley since 1995, Pizza Pirates offers a higher standard of delivery and takeout. We believe great pizza starts with the details: our hand-tossed dough is fermented for 48-72 hours to create that perfect airy, golden crust, and we use a bold, thick sauce that packs a punch. Unlike chains that use pre-bagged mix, we grate our custom 100% whole milk mozzarella fresh seven days a week. Pair your custom pie with our famous secret-recipe house-made Ranch and taste why locals have trusted us for over 25 years.

In Riverside, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across California on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–10:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (951) 360-3832. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pizzapirates.net.

Riverside is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Riverside is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’d want to leave 5* but this Jurupa location I keep getting inconsistency in the pizza crust thickness and the toppings. I am most disappointed because I ordered vegetarian pizza and the toppings had meat mixed in across the whole pizza, and no one could eat it. It’s not the first time I’ve seen this. It made me really sad because I had been bragging to my guests how this is one of the best pizza places I ever had and they have great vegetarian toppings. But the cross contamination just killed it for us.

TL;DR: 10/10, amazing pizza for great prices, sweet and lovely staff, highly recommend!! Honest to God review right here. If I could rate higher than a 5 star, I would. I ordered from Pizza Pirates today (6/17/26) roughly around 4:30PM. I got the medium pizza with chicken and chorizo with a buffalo sauce drizzle. In the "special instructions" box while checking out online, I asked for "a LOT of buffalo sauce. Like so much sauce it will render me immobile." It was a long shot so I didn't think much of it. But when I got home and opened that box? Holy! My entire pizza was DRENCHED in buffalo. There's a puddle in the box. I had two slices so far and I think I'm partially biologically buffalo sauce now and I'm fine with that 100%. The service was over the top fantastic, the employees were wonderful and super kind, and the man whom I'm assuming is a manager or boss even gave us cheese and peppers on the house. I would've loved to pay for it seeing how amazing this place is, even if it was 2 bucks. Next time I visit I will definitely be tipping (I couldn't today unfortunately bc money is hard rn) Overall though, I'm in total love. New favorite pizza joint for sure! Big kudos to everyone

Just got off a cross country drive from the east coast. I had been missing some really good pizza so I tried a few places along the way. Had a job in riverside and decided to try Pirate. I will say they weren’t as friendly as I’d like… just sorta stare like adolescent teens, no greeting or welcome… but the pizza!!! The PIZZA! Now my only upgrade would be a bit more garlic in the marinara and a garlic butter to baste the crust with … but oh man! The ingredients are fresh and tasty and worth it! I’ll give it four stars because I do think customer service is important

Let me just start by saying… if you’re wondering why the picture shows a half-eaten pizza, it’s because Pizza Pirates didn’t even give us a chance to behave ourselves. The moment we opened the box, that incredible smell hit us and all self-control went right out the window. We dug in instantly. No regrets. The pizza was that good, perfectly cooked crust, generous toppings, and a sauce that has no business being that delicious. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with actual care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. If you’re looking for your new go-to pizza spot, Pizza Pirates is the treasure you’ve been searching for. We’ll definitely be back… and maybe next time, we’ll try to take a picture before inhaling half the pie. πŸ˜…πŸ•πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ
